Becoming a volunteer
Belconnen Community Service would like to hear from people who:
- Live in the Belconnen region
- Are interested in helping others in our community
- Enjoy being part of a team
- Would like the opportunity to volunteer and make a real difference in their community.
Our volunteers assist Belconnen residents in many ways, such as:
- Providing transport to medical appointments,
- Friendly visiting
- Assisting with shopping
- English conversation classes
- Family support
- Assisting in day programs
- Disability support
- And participating in a wide variety of activities and programs.
Benefits of volunteering are: Gaining new skills through ongoing training and support, meeting others in your area, etc.
