North Canberra In Home Care offers quality Childcare for families and their children in the child’s own home.

Children are cared for by an approved Child Care Worker.

Flexible service designed to meet the needs of families who may otherwise not be able to access childcare.

Eligiblility criteria

To be eligible, families must meet one of the following eligibility criteria, or the families circumstances are such that an existing service cannot meet their needs:

• Families where the parent/s or child has an illness or disability
• Families in rural or remote areas
• Multiple birth (more than two) and / or more than two children under school age
• Parent/s work shift work or non standard hours
• Breastfeeding mother working from home

Child Care Benefit / Family Assistance Office

Child Care Benefit is available to eligible families. This can either be accessed as a lump sum at the end of the financial year or as a discount off your fortnightly bill. The rate for CCB is based on your annual income. Please contact the Family Assistance Office(link to FAO office) for further details
