Belconnen Family Day Care offers quality child care in a home environment.
Family Day Care is a community-based, quality assured child care service which offers professional and supervised care. A co-ordination unit monitors and supports the family-based child care worker to provide the highest standards of quality care in a stimulating and secure environment.
Working under ACT Government licencing conditions and the National Child Care Quality Assurance System, Family Day Care offers flexible hours of care in a home setting.

Fee schedule for January 2007

Rates are charged at per child per hour rounded to the nearest quarter hour.
Other Fees

| Preschool pick up/drop off | $5.00 per trip |
| Traveling allowance — for travel to school/required travel | As per tax milage rates |

The Registration fee is only refundable as a credit on the parents account. If care does not go ahead it is not refundable.
Meal allowance
Parents have the option of providing all meals, snacks and drinks but where the FBCCW makes the provision the following rates apply for:

Notified care / Unnotified care
24 HOURS notice must be given. Notified care outside the agreed hours attracts the casual rate of $5.40 per child per hour (Child Care Benefit applies) If 24 hours notice is not given a penalty rate of $20.00 per hour will apply.
Child Care Benefit / Family Assistance Office
Child Care Benefit is available to eligible families. This can either be accessed as a lump sum at the end of the financial year or as a discount off your fortnightly bill. The rate for CCB is based on your annual income. Please contact the Family Assistance Office for further details
